I'm trying to open one of my Wordpress sites and I get a pop-up which says:
You have chosen to open an application: which is a: application/x-httpd-php5 When I log into my WP dashboard, a bunch of the text there is scrambled as well. |

Check your .htaccess file for the AddType application/x-httpd-php5
line and remove that.
