Arrow Admirable !

Being in the SEO field, I wanted Aussie Bob (who BTW looks like an expert mountaineer) to make some changes regarding IP's. As I host with over a dozen companies, I have some measure of how good support and service can and should be. While the majority of hosts were not able to help me with what I wanted, due to inadequate knowledge, Aussie Bob not only completed my request, but did it in a jiffy.

It was sensational, the speed and passion with which he did his job.
Having also founded httpme.com I firmly believe Dotable will be a huge success in the times to come. A multi million dollar enterprise to say the least.

Best wishes Aussie Bob and hope to be a happy client forever.

Cheers,
RR

Obviously my rugged good looks give that impression.

The thrill is building a brand that people are delighted with, and that benefits others. Everything else is secondary to that, imo. Here's the kicker, if you build your brand so as to delight your clients, you'll make more money in the long haul. Put your clients first, and everything else falls into place. I really mean that and I'm not just saying it. There's a passion in creating a respected and admired brand. That's my drive.

I entirely agree with you Rob! It's a pitty more people don't have the same philosophy.

I have always said don't make the money a priority. Make the clients (whatever the industry) happieness your priority and the money will look after itself.

Again, I completely agree with this philosophy.
But Josh, just to answer why IMHO, others do not practice this philosophy, is because either:
a. They are 'evil'. Rouges, out there, just to get their hands on all the money they can. (I've not faced any in this industry fortunately)
or
b. When times are bad, and there's nowhere to pay out from, when expenses are exceeding income, when you cannot have good support staff, etc.. then people cannot help but provide a bad client experience. There are other ways around this. Get funding, stop company, sell company to better hands etc...
but the default move is, well, to prolong whatever it is that keeps clients unhappy. Mostly this is unintentional. But the more unfortunate bit is that in such a scenario, the business owner due to pressures cannot even understand advice given to him...

Alright, enough of talk from me there....

Aussie Bob, spoken like a true Aussie ! : )
I see the pride in Australian cricketers.
Obviously you wouldn't know, busy with other sports, climbing the peaks like Tom Cruise did in MI2....

Cheers,

Not too sure if Mrs Aussie Bob would approve of such an activity.
