Default Transferring your sites to Dotable

We can transfer your sites from your current host, only if your current host uses cpanel. We access each of your domain's cpanel accounts, and FTP to the Dotable server, the full cpanel backup for that domain. We then restore that full cpanel backup on the Dotable server, into your new account. This is a very accurate method of moving domains from one server to another.

To proceed with your migration, open a ticket on the Dotable helpdesk and include each domain's username and passwords that you would like migrated over, formatted like this -

username:password
username:password
username:password
username:password

If you do not know the passwords for the domains in your current WHM account, you will need to change those passwords, and give us those new passwords.

We will then proceed with migrate those domains over to the Dotable server, and restore them into your Dotable WHM account. You will then be given new nameservers in your Dotable welcome email, and you simply change your domain's nameservers, at your domain register/s.

That's it. Allowing for some propagation time with the new nameservers, your domains will then start resolving from the Dotable server.

Please note - we'll migrate up to 25 domains for free. For migrations of 25 domains or more, we charge a $2/domain migration fee. This covers our time with migrations, as migrations can be very time consuming activity.
