I believe this is due to the rollback on the decision to use secure only Gerrit, I could be wrong though.

Another problem with the new server. It appears I have not been getting incoming email since the switchover. I tested this from my gmail account and nothing is coming into my pop accounts on Jupiter. In fact, I was expecting some emails from my ClientExec install today (from within Jupiter) and those have not arrived either.

Sounds like the mailboxes were left in the old mailbox format and not converted to the new format which is now standard across all cPanel installs.

Steve?

[Just offering my $0.02 cents, I was not affected by this issue]

Didn't realize we were going to switch to maildir with this change. I like maildir better than mbox. But it seems the SMTP handler is not putting mail into the right place or pop3 handler is not picking it up from the right place?

I just SSH'd into one of my accounts and find all new email located in an mbox file called inbox. This indicates that SMTP is continuing to use an mbox. However pop3 is not telling me the email is there.

That's why I didn't have as many mails as normal!

Same problem here! The mail accounts don't show in Horde-webmail as well.

I hope this can be solved soon - as long as it's still sunday in this part of the world!

It may not have been intentional - but when you do a new cPanel install these days, that's how it automatically sets itself up (jupiter must have been set up prior to the date that cPanel started to make it a default). I guess Steve just overlooked that. It should be a relatively easy thing to fix.

It should be easily solved by running 1 script .

Yes, this is a problem but not as big as it's going to be tomorrow.

I checked my inbox file manually to catch up on important emails. The thing I noticed is that the emails I expected from ClientExec did not appear but others I was expecting (from outside the server) are there.
