Update -

Couldn't get the server back from remote reboot, so the techs at the colo are investigating, and will do a manual reboot.

I'll update in a few minutes . . .

Not embarrassed, just working hard to get the server back.

These things happen from time to time.

IMO the only reason to feel embarassed would be if they weren't doing anything about the server being down. A host that actually gives a play-by-play of the status is pretty rare.

</me waits patiently for any new news>

I've worked through literally hundreds of these type incidents, over the years. All we can do is work as hard as possible to get the server back online, and give updates on our progress in this announcement. Unfortunately server issues happen so we keep communication foremost with such issues.

Well I was having a kind of a promotion conversation on our DBoard, about how good is the new hosting is… And it went off on me! Bugger!! ))) Yes I know that kind of stuff happens once in a while. Always, in a best moment possible. )))

P.S. I appreciate your updates Bob!

Yeah. Sorry about this folks. Any downtime is incredibly frustrating, and no matter how many times I've done this before, it's still frustrating as heck.

Techs are checking the wiring in our cabinet now. The other servers in the cabinet are fine. It's just Jupiter that's not responding.

As always, updates to follow . . .
