We're working with people here - one of the colo techs from the new colo is going to the old colo and removing the server from the cabinet. He's then taking the server 3 floors up to the new cabinet. We can't force this to happen to the minute that it's planned. We're working in a time frame here, with people that can at times be a tad unpredictable, and that's the very best we can do. The migration will happen when it happens, and we're in that planned window now, but it's not to the minute.

When I'm half an hour (or more) late for a business appointment, I lose the job/contract...

Anyway, nothing I can do I guess, so I better try to relax..

We'd love to be able to control Chris, who is right now in the process of removing Jupiter from the old colo and taking it to the new colo, but we don't have that power. Just relax, as we're in the migration window now.

Gerrit, cell phones are useless in datacenters. You can't hear anything, due to the noise.

Chris has the server removed and it now walking it up the 3 floors to the new cabinet. It's all good, but running a tad late, but you get that.

Can it be that somebody didn't take daylight saving time in account when announcing the time of the move?

In the mean time I keep my fingers crossed that Chris doesn't trip and drops Jupiter..

Naaah, according to Chris it took longer than expected to get access to our locked cabinet in the old colo. These things happen. If we could only remove the human element to hosting, things would go super smooth.
