Is this addressing that kernel exploit I saw news about elsewhere? And how long should we expect the server to be out of commission?

It is for a kernel upgrade - the server is up but will need another reboot as I hard rebooted it back to the old kernel, as it seemed to take a while to come back up - reality is the file system was fscking.

Oh no, not again
 Any chance the follow-up reboot (fsck) can wait until after 5PM North America time? Then I'll have the whole weekend to worry about JupiterI am disappointed we are given no notice of this coming so we can tell our customers what to expect (I'm referring to the original reboot not the follow-up one you are going to do). This is a particular bad time when my customers are getting their emails as part of starting the business day.
