Our admins are investigating this issue, but as a temporary solution, they are requesting that any users with domains pointed at ns1.dotauserver.com and ns2.dotauserver.com repoint their domains to:
ns29.dotcolo.com ns30.dotcolo.com We will update this post further with what our admins find out. |

Thanks DSmith. We'll see how that works.
It is very disappointing that when I asked in my original ticket (a week ago) whether there were any alternative name servers other than ns1.dotauserver and ns2.dotauserver... I was told no. Now we're told yes. Our sites really could have been visible to our customers all week. ![]() Anyway, please let us know when the issue is resolved. I'm very sorry for this trouble, as far as we can see, ns29 and ns30.dotcolo.com are set up correctly, we have many of our clients' domains pointed to those right now and they have been working fine. However, one of our admins is currently looking into this.

Welcome back, Dotable. Tut-tut. What sort of web host allows its own domain name to expire?
![]() I got in touch with UK2 Group earlier this morning... a) to let them know that they had allowed dotable.com to expire, and b) to mention this DNS saga that has dragged on for more than a week. Hey presto! Three hours later and everything seems to be working again. Could you please let us know what happened, and what (if anything) you did to resolve it. I'll follow up with Telstra BigPond also, to see if they did anything. Will be good to know for next time (which will hopefully never occur). Thanks, Jarrod |

For those of you who haven't raised a ticket or who didn't get a response, this is from JJ today.
It looks like Dotable don't intend to fix the problems with ns1.dotauserver.com and ns2.dotauserver.com... so make sure you have updated all your domains... -------------------- Hello Jarrod, The name servers ns1.dotauserver.com and ns2.dotauserver.com are older name servers of ours that have not been actively maintained, it is recommended that you change your name servers to ns29.dotcolo.com and ns30.dotcolo.com.
