Convert video files to FLV
One my website I host a home brew media gallery which currently shows photo's or videos (avi,mpg or wmv) but it currently uses WMP plugin to play the files therefore linux users can not view the videos.
I am looking for a way to convert the media files during upload to FLV which should make life easier (FLV is used on youtube etc). Looking around the net seems to indicate that this process uses ffmpeg that hooks in php. Is ffmpeg installed on Shadow? Does anybody have any other recommendations as I don't know if it is secure enough to install.
