I honestly understand if you have other priorities, but if you have idea of timescales for the upgrade of pg 8.2, or preferably 8.3, to take place, then it would be really appreciated it if you could publish it, as it will have an impact on when and how I do my work over the next couple of months.

I guess i kinda missed the boat asking for this earlier, but is there any chance to get postgresql upgraded on voyager also?

I assumed from the thread that PostgreSQL was going to be upgraded to the latest version, 8.3, but have just realised that it is at version 8.2.5. Please please please could you upgrade it to 8.3, as it gives me the functionality that I need for my development as standard. Also, it is considered leaps and bounds ahead of it predecessors and its open source rivals.

I am sorry I did not bring this to your attention soon after you upgraded. I hope you can help.

When I made the rpms, that was the latest available source version.

I will make some new ones and install at the weekend - php needs to be recompiled with every update in postgresql versioning.
