Default Forum subscription

Forum subscriptions are only available on a daily or weekly basis, which is pretty useless for subscribing to threads in the announcements forum (if a server has problems, you want to know about it before the end of the day or week ).

Any chance of fixing that please?

A few things seem to have got a little screwed up with the last upgrade.

It seems to work fine for me. Neptune went offline earlier and I got an email right away.

Yea this is one of the "benefits"? of upgrading if I remember, you lose the ability to have instant updates.
All those that have already subscribed like that aren't affected though, its only new people that will be affected.

Yep, this seems to be the case. It's on the list.

My existing subscriptions got totally messed up. I went into the CP and there were subscriptions there that I didn't have before, and the ones I did have were gone.

My understanding is the only way to fix it is to roll back to an older version of vb.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

It's on Steve's "List", so we'll get it fixed. Subscribing to forums is critical with server announcements etc, so this has to be fixed.
