OK. I've got to say it doesn't look as nice and makes it a little inconvenient to use.
You now have to scroll down the page (and on a laptop screen it's a full "page") to see if you have any private messages, search the entire forum or click the new posts link - 3 things that are done (certainly by me) regularly.

It's not done yet.
 We needed more room up there for the Dotable Plan buttons (Justin  ). I'll add some of those forum links up into the header nav, and have a "Today's new posts" link on ther right hand side of the "Dotable - Dot your Domains™ >" links. |

That's better
Though, it looks quite cluttered up there when inside a forum - the menu is butted up against the main site menu with no whitespace.Also there's a double arrow thingie next to "search" and "quicklinks". Who's this "Justin" fellow you keep talking about?
