Google is good, but you have to open the page to find out about the content, often misleading, often not 100% what you looking for. For example, the link I have mention is not on the first page at Google. But, those guys come up first with the solution I was looking for the month. Some times ago two of my sites based on Mambo been defaced(many sites was defaced this way world wide), because of outdated extended calendar component. Had to loose all events and remove it. Guys from the http://forum.mamboguru.com/ redone the component made it more secure and such within a week, I did not know about them in time, found them too late. I think can also be very useful for people whom new to the WWW, to know some sites that experts like Bob, Steve or Josh use or can suggest. We are often ask them a questions and often same questions many times, they can point to the right direction here. Or, may be some would like to showcase their own site… Many developers and designers here who can suggest or give some tips for the feature development. The best thing is that it all be related to a local server configuration. |

A forum for clients favorite resources is an excelent idea.
Stick it down the bottom of the forum list, then if any clients don't want to see it they can simply collapse it using the little blue collapse/expand buttons.

The reason I suggested it doesnt need a whole forum, is because a line has to be drawn somewhere IMO
When the forum is used as a primary line of communication its imperative that it has to be checked daily. If its too big then its more difficult for those that dont have a lot of time... Not to worry Bob has added it now.
