Is dotable looking forward for providing anonymous support directly to our clients? Some webhosts do provide it and it is one of the most sought after feature.
Oh yes, the support should be anonymous without revealing the dotable brand. |

I would love to see this feature available but I suspect that, should this be implemented, it might lead to an increase in the price of the hosting plan. So I do not think that it is in dotable's to do list, not in the near future anyway. Right Bob/Steve?

ofcourse, I dont suppose this can be free anyway. It can also be optional add-on for resellers if they want. So lets say, a Reseller can pay $ xx for one year of free support directly to their clients.
And resellers can either provide their own support or sort of "outsource" it to dotable. How about that? |

It's on the list, but will certianly not be free. More around the lines of $x/domain/mth. We're still working on the pricing model, to see if it's feasible to introduce as a product.

Hey Bob,
Nice to know that its already being thought about. I would also like to provide the support as optional to the customers who want the same ofcourse with a little margin over dotable price. So if Dotable charges $ x per domain I would have to charge atleast $x+0.01 per domain to my customers. Having that in mind, I hope that it would be cheaper else resellers will redirect queries to the free support that we have been getting for all the domains bundled. |

Not sure if you could charge your clients extra for support, as that's generally considered part of their hosting package they've purchased from you - unless you have 2 tiers of pricing.

I hope it will be optional.. I don't mind giving support to my clients - it's one of my selling points. I don't push selling hosting - site design is my main business. I offer 'complete care' from website design to hosting and also computer/network service & maintenance
