Looking for advise and VPS custom plan.

Ok , at the moment my VPS package is (self-managed) :-

I am current with other data center, it is a custom plan.

A little bit about myself and my usage :-
1. I am offering free hosting service.
2. I am using 3rd party software to manage the free hosting member's accounts/sites inclusive account created, billing...etc. I need this software to get my ads display thought the whole network. The software require ioncude and Mod_layout.
3....my server just get hacked yesterday/today, and about 400+ accounts get deleted.
4. I have a backup in my VPS , dated 03/10 .
5. I need to restore and bring back all accounts, but I failed to do it. ( consider me a total noob in server management). My main sites are totally unavailable too.


I am searching for a suitable plan with managed service (that's what you have!), with all the necessary 3rd party software/script installation...and restoration of my member's accounts...as soon.

Advise me please..

How much disk space and bandwidth do you need?

Hi Bob,
I need at least 80GB of hard disk space, I am using about ~50% of my current storage space (80GB) and I foresee it will be growing speedily. But the bandwith usage is low at about 200GB at the moment.

I also need at least 1GB of Dedicated RAM for Memory. My memory usage is high.

I am having trouble trying to restore the backup via WHM "Restore multiple account". I am sure I schedule the backup weekly for "Full Backup". The backup is availble in my VPZZ /backup folder.

By the way, would like to keep you informed that my server has been under attack last month. It was a DDoS attack. So I really need to boost my server's security.

Sorry, but that's way out of our VPS range. You'll need a dedicated server for what you're looking to do, or a very large VPS account, neither of which we offer.

that specs dont look reasonable for me ( for a vps), id rather think you would need a low end dedicated machine...

Definitely need a dedicated server there for your applications, especially as you need to mitigate ddos attacks too.

yup, at the moment my VPS is a custom made plan. This is to help accomodate about 1k of member's accounts. The bandwidth usage is pretty low compare to the storage usage. This is due to the fact that majority of members are using the server for trial in building up their sites.

Also, several accounts in the server are for non-profit purposes, with very low traffic. That's why the storage vs bandwidth ratio is odd.

At the moment, my VPS plan is "VPS Dedi" as termed by my Data Center. This is because I am very new in server management, and have no idea how to handle a dedicated server. Thus, I started out with VPS first and pick up from there. Well, VPZZ is pretty straight forward to handle.

During the DDoS attack, my server kernel just went high sky, and we got no choice but to shut the server down for 2days and wait until the attack over. It was a nightmare for newbie like me...but I learn from there.
