for Europe - Dotable

hello, do you have any european customers?
I like dotable, but I'm from Europe and I am not sure about speed because ping is 50ms more than for NY datacenters...

Hi

Yes, we have customers from Europe. The Dotable servers are in LA, so if you need servers from Europe, you might need to find a host with servers in Europe.

) isn't really going to be noticable. Sure, it would make a difference for playing online games, but for viewing a website it's nothing. Besides, the sheer grunt of the servers more than makes up for that IMO

160ms here, not exactly UK datecenter loading times but its fractions of second we're talking about here.

I'd go with Josh's stance on this one.

And remember, ping is only one measurement. You can have a server with less ping, but it's overloaded, so your site will be slow to respond. But you can have a server with slightly more ping, but it's fast and super responsive, so your site will load faster from that server.

Im not in the UK but some of my sites/customers are .co.uk domains and are doing very nicely.
0.05 seconds is nothing to worry about.

I've only just got an account here, But already have noticed a speed increase in database activity over a host i use in the uk where I live.
