2 quick questions: Fees and Server - Dotable

G'day!

I've been lurking around here for a while and am quite ready to take the plunge. I've only 2 more questions:

1) says in the order page that paying for 1 month gets me 3 months free. if i'm going for the 12 months pre-paid, does that mean i'll get 12 + (12x3) = 48 months of hosting for AUD95.52 (mini-DOT plan)?

2) if i sign up 2 days from now, which server will i be on?

3) I'll be using the server for a Wordpress-powered blog, hence Mod-Rewrite has to be on. Is it?

If you signed up for the 12mth plan, you would get 3mths free at the end of that 12mth term.

Let me sing just another question:

Is GD library or ImageMagick on by default?

I'll be using a gallery script and it needs either one of those to auto-generate thumbnails for my photos.

Thanks Bob and Klian. I'm now deciding between using Textpattern and Wordpress...and waiting for saturn/neptune to be up...

If you really wanted to be on Saturn server, you could sign up now, and we'll set you up on Mars, and move you over to Saturn when it's online. No worries at all.

Hello, sorry to jump directly to this topic.... rather than opening a new thread... Hehhe...

So, what if I pay monthly? Still get this kind of mechanism?

If yes, I assume that the 3 months bonus will be after my "annual" billing? Or... ?

If you paid monthly, then after your first payment, the next 3mths would be free. If you paid yearly, then yes, the 3mths free bonus would start after your 12mth term was finished.
