Just access your secure WHM by https://IP:2087 and your secure cpanel by https://IP:2083

Yes, port 26 is enabled accross all Dotable servers.

HI AB,
I realise that, however it would just be nice to be able to go to domain.com/whm and be secure.

https://www.domain.com/whm (or /cpanel) should bring you to the secure version.

Actually, it should be:

https://example.com:2087 for whm
https://example.com:2083 for cpanel
https://example.com:2096 for webmail

This does not work.

This does work.

Just a pity you can not enable the easier method like my previous provider. I am sure it can not be difficult.

domain/swhm or domain/scpanel

I know there is a way to force ssl login in whm and it is after all a safer way to login.

Could you set-up so that anyone visiting http://yourdomain.com/scpanel gets forwarded to https://yourdomain.com:2083?

A simple PHP file would do the forwarding and if you add this file to /cpanel3-skel/public_html/scpanel it'll be added to all new accounts automatically.

Or am I missing something? (As usual!)

I really do like using whm or cpanal in the insecure manner of http.
When you do this, whm even warns you that you are insecure.

My old provider had it set up so that you could do the following;
mydomain.com/whm = insecure or http
mydomain.com/swhm = secure or https
mydomain.com/cpanel = insecure or http
mydomain.com/scpanel =secure or https

This worked really well.
Can you do the same? or even make it so logins are always https.
I know this can be done in your whm.

Also is exim running on 26, as I do not see it in service status.

Thanks in advance.
mydomain.com/whm = insecure or http
mydomain.com/swhm = secure or https
mydomain.com/cpanel = insecure or http
mydomain.com/scpanel =secure or https

Will all work now, I added the alias to redirect for those urls.

Port 26 is monitored now as well
