Hi Bob,

Just a couple of Q's I can't seem to find the answers to on the forum.

1. Is safemode on or off on your servers? Are you likely to introduce it?

2. phpsuexec is off I understand, but are you likely to introduce it?

3. Can register_globals be set on/off from .htaccess?

4. Do you have rDNS on your mail servers?

5. Can you provide rDNS on dedicated IP's? - this is in addition to rDNS on mail servers - some ISP's (AOL et al) seem to treat a dedicated IP as the 'sender', rather than the server and so still sometimes bounce the mail.

6. What server are you currently putting new accounts on? - I would prefer Saturn or Neptune. If you're still preparing those I can wait a week or three - if so, could I sign-up now to take advantage of your '3 months free' offer (which I believe ends today) and wait for the account set-up and sites transfer when the server(s) are ready?

7. I take it the 4 drives are a RAID pair plus parity plus backup?

safemode is off. Won't be introducing it.

Yes, phpsuexec is off, and no we won't be introducing it.

All email sent comes from the server's main IP, and not your IPs.

Mars.

2. If we can't change them via .htaccess, can they be turned on (at your end) for specific accounts that need them on? I'm thinking of early OSC/Zen shops.

3.What are your helpdesk response time targets - ie. how long before a ticket gets dealt with?

No more than 30 minutes generally. Most in minutes.

SSH: - is access allowed to resold accounts using SFTP?

Well, the last one except for:

Additional dedicated IP's: (for SSL) - can't find anything listed.

1. Cost? - one-off charge per IP, or monthly rental per IP?

2. Individual IP's available, or bought as a block of so many? - Block size?

I think I can help with this.

SSH is not allowed on resold accounts. The only exception is if you are the sole admin for all the accounts.

No, you can't resell hosting accounts with SSH access.

SSH is only granted on your main WHM domain (by request) and also any other domains that you control.

1. Maybe we're getting crossed lines here.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by:

... and also any other domains that you control.

For example, If I create an account from WHM (eg. www.domain.com) could I use SFTP to access the files on that domain using my SFTP client? If not, do you support FTPS SSL/TLS (both data and control channels)?

(I'm presuming that the SSH is jailshell and so limited to a particular user's account.)

2. And my question about additional IP addresses?
