Default DNS when doing cpanel transfer to dotable

Hiya -- I have a domain which requires the MX record to be set up for a separate email hosting service. When a site is transfered to Dotable using cPanel transfer, will the zone file for this particular domain need to be changed or will the MX record that is currently in place move with the rest of the site? My guess is no but I want to make sure I know beforehand what to expect.

Alternately, is it possible to simply host my own DNS at someplace like easydns?

That zone file should be trannsfered over, but it would be something that we'd also manually look at copying, just to be on the safe side.

Thank you -- I just finished signing up. No rush on the setup. Happy to have found Dotable. I was a bluewho customer and then have bounced around for the past year or so since they changed hands.

Dotable welcome email has been sent. There's instructions in it if you need domains migrated over to the Dotable server.
