Default Couple questions

1. Is overselling enabled? I know it wasn't last year, but the references to that on the website appear to be gone?
2. The Terms state "Dotable.com allows SSH access on the client's main WHM domain. This is activated only upon request." does this mean that we cannot enable (or access) SSH access to our resold clients domains?
3. Do you have rvSkin?

That is correct. SSH is only activated on your main WHM domain, and not resold domains.

Yes.

Bugger, that's a show stopper. Thanks anyway Bob; I'll keep an eye on the place from time to time in case you change that policy

No worries. SSH is fine for Dotable clients, but not for clients of our clients.

We do make exceptions if the domains that require SSH are not resold hosting domains, and your own personal domains.

Hi Bob,

I'm interested in joining your happy crew here at dotable but this is a deal-breaker for me too.

I do everything on my clients' accounts and ssh access is a must for software installs / updates and for a home-brewed rsync backup system I use. The clients don't use ssh but I need access to their accounts.

Is there some way you can provide this? Limiting access to my static IP would be perfectly acceptable, or any other reasonable conditions you might have.

Thanks
Chris

Chris

If it's just you that is to use SSH, then we can enable SSH over your client's domains. We're perfectly ok with that. You'll just need to request SSH access be granted for your specific domains, on the Dotable helpdesk, and we'll get that actioned for you.

Sing out if you need anything else.

Thanks Bob,

Looking forward to life on Mars!

BTW, what are you going to do in another 6 weeks or so when you run out of planets?
