Default Transfering Sites

I have decided to move to Dotable. I have wanted to switch hosts for a while, but haven't because I am unfortunately on dial-up so transfering 7 sites would not be a fun task for me. What I wanted to know is if there is any chance the transfer could fail and I would have to transfer the sites by hand. This wouldn't be a huge problem for me as I REALLY want to move, but that would delay the process a bit.

When I moved here I had some other sites elsewhere. They were all transferred for free by Bob without any issues as part of the service. One of the sites cuased a slight issue but Bob picked up on that as it was happening and made sure everything was working correctly before he considered the task complete.

I believe the only proviso to this service is that your current sites are also managed using cPanel.

Gaara

If your current host uses cpanel, we can transfer all your sites over to the Dotable server that your account is setup on. No worries at all.

If I were to transfer 200MB of data myself, man...that will take a long time to complete on my end with just a small broadband plan...Bob does all the hard work for me and everyone by clicking transfer...hahaha

Default Email settings

When moving, are email settings preserved?
What sort of down-time would I expect, as I switched over?
Also could I chose when to make the switch (risking downtime) or would it happen when you move the information?

Hoping to be a customer soon, and for a long time

Yes, although sometimes things like email forwarders seem to get left behind. But it's very close to 100%.

No downtime.

Yes, you can choose when we start the migration. It's good to have you there on the Dotable live chat, when we're migrating your domains accross. You give us each domain, username and password, and we migrate that site over etc. It's a good system that's worked for a lot of migrations.

Didn't Site5 modify their cpanel file? I thought they did at the first place. Bob, transfering from there cause no problem?
