Can I access it via SSL and also the SMTP server via SSL?
I like to use a wireless laptop and it email is just too valuable to go cleartext. (Plus I tell my clients never to use it, so its hard to supply hosting to them that doesn't!) thx! michael |

![]() I've never used email over SSL in that manner, but I don't see why it couldn't work. Have you used this previous on a cpanel server? You can use port 465 to connect to SMTP over SSL (TLS)

Yep, just select use SSL (or whatever the option is in your mail program) for SMTP (you may need to use port 26 instead of 25 if your ISP blocks 25).
POP3 over SSL you need to specify the port 995 and IMAP over SSL you need to specify the port 993
