Default Question

Hello and thanks in advance for answering my question I have. With my current host I get fopen errors I believe they are. Which best I remember it means open directory security is on. First do you have this enabled and second if you do can you turn it off for specific sites to allow this as it is for a RSS feed. Thank you again in advance.

Well basically I think it is a fopen problem but I will describe a little more in detail. Basically I have carp RSS feed it requires php code to pull its information. Well I have html files so in .htaccess I add a line

AddType application/x-httpd-php .html

So I can use php in html files so pretty simple. Well I set it up on my host and it worked for a few days. I go one morning and my webpage loads a 500 error so I figure I just added the thing to the .htaccess so I took it out. The webpage loaded fine no problems at all so I figure it is open directory security or something not allowing me to do it. I could be wrong but just sounds like it to me.
