Default Some more questions

Hello,

I know I will be moving to Dotable, just need some questions answer for my own sanity. Coming from a host that was bought out by a company with a checker past.

1) The one year plan, does that also comes with the special of 3 months free?

2) I am base in the United States and I know the payment has to be in AUD. Wanted to know how that will translate on renewal, will the renewal be based on what I paid in US dollars at sign up or will it be different base on the than current exchange rate?

3) How hard will it be to move my sites over without changing any database names and password?

4) And will there be a change to PHP 5 in the near future?

Thanks. I will probably have more questions.

Yes, the 3mths free would be at the end of your first 12mths.

The renewal will be based in Aussie $$$, so depending what the currency exchange is then, is what you will pay in US$.

We can do that from the Dotable helpdesk. Just drop a ticket in with all the domain, usernames and passwords, and we'll transfer your sites over for you.

Not for a while, but it's eventually inevitable.

Thanks for the answer.

And would it be possible to move my SSL cert over here or would I need another cert? Thanks

You can use the same SSL cert. It should move over, if we transfer your domains over, but it might need reinstalling.

I just went to the order form to place a year order. But the price tells me "(This Month Pro-Rated 31 days) AUD19.96."

Does this mean I will be charge AUD19.96 every month? Or does this mean next month I will be charge the remaining 11 month price?

George

The Dotable billing is batch billing, on the 1st of each mth. If you're paying yearly, and you order before the 15th of the mth, then you pay out that remaining mth only, as your first payment, and then on the 1st of the next mth, you would pay the full yearly amount.

If you ordered past the 15th of the mth, and you're paying yearly, you would pay the remainder of that mth plus the 12mth amount.

OK great thanks.

Here is a simple question I have. Little confuse with "Your main domain that you sign up with, will be setup with your first dedicated IP address. Your second dedicated IP will be assigned as the IP that your domains will share, instead of sharing the server's main IP."

I set up these 2 dedicated IP to my main domain. So I would just use NS1 and NS2 on all the other domains?
