Account Recommendation - Dotable

Hi,

I have a client who wants to put up 1 to 4 CDs for download online. They're all 80 minutes long, and I guess I could put them in MP3 format (at 128 bit I guess that's about 100 megs each CD?). He'll have a fairly large user-base so they'll be downloaded a lot; how much I'm not really sure.

Oh, and the content of the CDs are his own, so no copyright issues.

I do want to go with Dotable, so what sort of account would you recommend? I obviously need one with a large amount of bandwidth.

Is it better to offer them for normal download, or to stream them? What other issues do you think will come up with a website such as this?

Howdy

It comes down to how much bandwidth you're going to use, to base what account you need. That seems a bit unknown right now, as you don't know what levels of bandwidth you'll be needing.

How you distrubute the CDs, either streamed or downloaded, is up to you. We just host them, and you handle how they get distributed.

I'll give some thought and crunch some numbers RE the bandwidth... Luckily we have a very good budget for this website, so it shouldn't be too much of a concern.
