Default Moving entire hosting operation

Howdy,

I've been a bit worried about Voxtreme, and now I hear that they've sold (I never got the memo). So, after many other recent issues, I've decided to look for other options...and AB, you've always been in the forefront.

So, I'd like some info on moving my reseller account. What are the issues? Are the programs similar? Is this the only hosting company you now have, or did it just undergo a name change?

Can my users use horde? and can they mail from horde or their scripts to AOL customers (THis is still blocked months later!)

Up time figures, etc?

Cheers!
Kat

No worries.

The process is simple. You supply us with a list of domains, usernames and passwords, and we transfer those accounts to the Dotable server. You then change your nameserver IPs, to the IPs we assign your nameservers, and in a few hours, your domains will resolve from the Dotable server.

No, Dotable is the only hosting company I currently operate. I did sell HTTPme in 2004, so you might be thinking about that.

Yes to both.

Public uptime stats are on the Dotable server status page.

Sing out if you'd like to get started.

Hi grafikat,

I just moved my reseller account from Site5 to Dotable a few days ago and all went well. There were a couple of very minor hiccups but Bob resolved them quickly. Come on in, the water's fine.

I'd come from Site5 as well. *Very* happy here.

Bob

I have seen many emails sent from PHP scripts like from vBB, IPB forums or PHP guess-book will be denied by AOL, meanwhile sending out by Outlook is fine. Are you sure that customers can send mail from PHP scripts to AOL addresses without any trouble?

Ethan,
It's from the host, not the script. Sending from Horde or my email client also results in a bounce.

Bob:
As this is a whm to whm move, can I give you the master password to move the entire account? My accounts are currently only on 1 server.

Cheers!
