Default php.ini configuration

Hello, How configurable is the php.ini on your hosting accounts? I am particularily interested in the following:

1. .htaccess
2. memory_limit
3. Register Globals

Thats all I can think of for now.

Hi

1. - Yes.
2. - Yes, but only by root.
3 - Yes, but only by root.

By root, that means we have to make those config changes on the helpdesk.

If 1 is "yes" as Bob says, then 2 and 3 can be changed at run time using 1.

One more additional php.ini question..Can the php.ini be set with the following:

"error_reporting=E_WARNING"

A component I am looking at using advises this on Apache servers.

You can reduce this in your .htaccess file.
