Free hosts... - Dotable

Hi,

Just a quick question. Are free webhosts permitted on the dotable VPS or Reseller products?

The free host in question does not have auto-signup turned on and follows procedures to check against those violating it's terms of service.

Let me know if this sort of host is permitted.

Hey Matt

You could run a free host from a Dotable VPS, but not from a Dotable Reseller account. It's just far too risky on a reseller account, but more insulative on a VPS account.

I understand the reasons why you would not want a free host being run on a reseller. I am now looking into purchasing a VPS from dotable.

Edit: Cannot find no information on the VPS's available from dotable. Is their a exact thread link please?

I get the following error when hitting order at the top then VPS.

The VPS accounts have been removed for now. They'll be back in the next 30 to 60 days. We do have one spare VPS with a client who just cancelled, so if you wanted a VPS, we could hook you up there.

The pricing is AUS$175/mth for a fully managed VPS with 512MB RAM, 15GB disk space, 300GB data transfer, WHM/cpanel/fantastico, and free ClientExec licence. I was about to announce it as being available to all Dotable clients, but it's yours if you want it.
