Marmite...

YUCK!

They are quite different in flavour and texture and most people who like one will not like the other.

No! Marmite is horrible compared to Vegemite... then again, for anyone who hasnt tried either they'd both be weird tasting.

Josh yes, I agree.

Mrs Aussie Bob gave me a sandwich with marmite on it. It was promptly returned to the kitchen, with a stern look on my face. I was told to eat it or go hungry. So I went to the shop and got a meat pie.

That reminds me of when I was at college - the tutor asked one of the students to go and get him a packet of Regal cigarettes. We were on the 15th floor and the student came back after getting half way down to the shop, he returned to ask what he should get if they didn't have Regal - the teacher said "anything!"

15 minutes later the student returned, and handed the teacher a Meat Pie

I have to say I'd vote for Marmite too... Having never tried Vegemite (hence my ignorant comparison!) I can't really say which I prefer.

The Mrs tells me that Marmite is 60% sugar, and a big no no for kids, according to a poster in the Dentist's office, when the kids were there yesterday.

So, no more marmite in the Walker home.
