Is "IE" actually a trademark of Microsoft though? Internet Explorer obviously will be, but I'd question whether IE is. Further, they'd also have to show that the IE7.com site was mis-representing their trademark which I don't think it is.

But I'm no lawyer! Quality site

I don't think so - because it's a common term (i.e. "i.e." and variations thereof).
