Any of you did know Aussie Bob has another Hosting company since 2007 ?. Thats what i saw when i search for his name in google.

At this moment, I cant tell nothing bad about the people who buys a company with high volume of clients in each server, and works day and night to give solution to problems. I need some time for give my opinion of them.

On the other hand, I dont like speculators who make a company to sell it after. I?m very ANGRY and disagree with the way Aussie Bob has played. I will never recomend him.

Sorry for my bad english.

I have nothing against someone who is able to develop a new brand, provide excellent service, and makes a profit after a few years by selling to another outfit. I wish I could do that.

The excellent service? We have been 5 days without server (He said he was the general manager, nothing will change,...and when theres a problem he didnt write a line to support the clients)

regards,

First, I was referring to 3 years of excellent service not the couple of months. It's obvious now that Aussie Bob was not the General Manager when the service went downhill. I guess the only fault I agree with is a lack of communications when this change of management actually occurred.

When an owner sells his business and assures the customers he will stay as (general) manager don't believe it..

I've seen this so many times with acquisitions. After a couple of months or a year max. the old owner is gone.
It's understandable - which self employed person would want to work as an employee? Especially if the previous owner was successful, you can bet your bottom dollar that he won't be around for long.

Too bad that great hosting companies like Dotable don't stay around some longer with the original great and super dedicated team.

hmmm ..Jupiter case ..

Billy & Nick handle in the beginning, Nick told us two complete hardware failures on two completely seperate servers in two different datacenters, and without a restore is to replace it with the identical RAID card, which the datacenter did not stock .. no no no, it unacceptable at all ..

then,Matt jump in/takeover/face the error, well, may be I will give Matt a try ..

Pretty sure he promoted this to us when he set that up, cos I remember that he has a local hosting entity now but i was happy to stay were i was.

Also is obvious that when he sold part of his business there would have been contract terms to prevent him from stealing the clients, this is normal for business sales.

It doesnt seem like if Aussiebob was still in charge that this would have meant the outage wouldnt have occured, nor would it have been resolved any quicker.

So aussie bob has gone on to create another hosting company, aussiehost, which I am guessing will be sold in a few years then the cycle is repeated again.

I've got the message Dave.. Just for record, if you can not do it right you'll become an Aussie Bob! .
