I'll post the cause of this outage when they let me know.

It's a network wide issue, and these things happen from time to time. Just have to sit tight, get your announcements out to your clients, and wait for the network to come back. Cool heads prevail in these situation.

Ahhhh, gotta love the hosting business.

This is nothing to do with a DDOS. The colo boss couldn't go into specifics, but he did say that. Their network engineers were working on it, and he said it shouldn't be too much longer.

Meanwhile....

Does CCLA not have an announcement page or forum somewhere where they post updates to such problems?

Does CCLA have a network uptime guarantee for its colo clients?

Please grant Sumith access to post in the Network forum. Surely he must be responsible enough to have such access. As you mention above, announcements have to be sent to our clients too. It helps when we have an announcement from Dotable as quickly as possible.

It's working hours at my location and all my customers are all over me for not being able to access their emails and site on my vps

Hope this is resolved in double quick time. My company reputation at stake.
