Greatest accomplishment - Staying married for near 13 years, and loving my wife more and more each year. My 5 children I deeply adore, and I'm so proud of the people they're becoming.
Up there too is my previous hosting company that I built from scratch in 2001, and sold in 2004. I'm very proud of HTTPme. We broke new ground with that business model, and proved so many nay-sayers wrong.
Greatest dissapointment - Losing my building company in 1997, during a downturn in the building industry. Losing our 2 properties, cars, and self confidence/respect was devestating.
Life Goal - To dance the tango with my wife at our Great Grandchildren's weddings.
I guess to sum me up (if that's possible), I've worked very hard all my life, and experienced some highs and lows. There's been some bruises sure, but that's part of life. There's also been some amazing triumphs, and great joy.
I'm a casual and happy chap. I've been described as even keeled, as I don't get too emotional over things, and tend to stay fairly even. Being a parent to 5 children is an awesome responsibility, and one that myself and Wendy (Mrs Aussie Bob) take very seriously. It is our passion to provide them with the very best upbringing possible, in a warm and loving home, and watch them grow and become happy people.
